Anyone else obsessed with Balenciaga?

I'm usually not a fan of braids, but when it starts resembling food I fall in love. See what I mean?

Kudos Balenciaga. The chunky leather braids and asymmetrical trousers really hit the spot.

I know I missed out on the whole introduction to spring/summer collections, but I feel I have to do them anyway. I love making collages. It always makes you wonder what was on the designer's inspiration boards when they created all this pizazz.

Starting my five part introduction is Stella McCartney. I loved her denim garb, but these nutritious prints blew my mind.

Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2010 is so great. Don't you adore the delicate-seeming and ladylike clothing juxtaposed with the sturdy shapes of the bags? Black is obviously the foundation of the whole collection, but there are light, fun colors thrown in to brighten everyone's overcast winter day. However, I don't understand how super sheer or super lacey dresses keep you insulated for those cold days. Then again, I am reviewing this from a New Yorker's stand point. I guess all the Floridians and Californians and Texans, etc. will be able to enjoy lighter pieces.

NO slump a'coming

Kenzo is one of my favorite collections of the season. I love the bohemian and almost muumuu dresses. The prints and colors are just the right pops of color you need to brighten your cold fall or winter day. Pair one of these slighty ill-fitted dresses or slumpy pieces with a very chunky sweater or long parka with a large satchel and you'll be ready for a cold weekend.

CCC: chanel couture collage

Man do I love Chanel's couture line for Fall/Winter 2010. It has that early 1900s shape and European embroidery essence. The amount of detail infused into each piece of this collection is massive.

Sadly, I can't visualize many of these dresses on the red carpet.
